Solar energy is no doubt the best type of energy one can get in abundance from nature. Man has been exploiting the nature from centuries and as a result we have now started facing the ill effect of that exploitation. To overcome these ill-effect one can take a baby step in correcting our mistakes that we have done in the name of progress. Using Solar energy is one such small step that we can take which will not only reduces or nullifies our electricity bill but also helps in keeping the environment clean by not emitting any harmful gases.

            Why use solar energy?

There are some man-made and some natural cons that makes it at times difficult to choose solar energy over conventional fuel energy.

1.    The 1^st con of solar energy is man-made. The cost of making a panel. The Cost is too high which repels a person from using it.

2.    The 2nd con is natural one. The geographic location of the place. If the place is not getting enough sunlight during the daytime the panel may not be able to generate enough electricity as per the required.

3.    Again a man-made side-effect of revolution is pollution. Pollution also acts as a con for solar panel. Pollution affects the overall efficiency of the solar panel, hence generating less amount of electricity than required.

4.    Natural Con. Electricity can be produced only during the day time when the sun is up and not throughout the day as the source which is the sun is only there for 12 hours at a particular part of the earth.

5.    Man-made con. Installation and repairs cost are also too high which discourages a person from installing the panel.

Hope we can find some solution to the man-made cons. The cost of building up a solar panel needs to come down so that it can be within the reach of the masses as a result people will definitely use this energy wherever possible, not just to cut down the electricity bills but also to keep the atmosphere clean. 

Furthermore, we can manufacture more and more vehicles running on solar power and which can store the energy in the batteries when the sunlight is not available. As a result of this less carbon dioxide will be emitted into the atmosphere and that will be bring down the effect of global warming which is the major concern of the world today. We can with this little move make our earth a better place to live in.
